Whole Health Educator
This is a 10-month distance learning program available through the National Institute of Whole Health. You get 24 two-hour instructional streamed videos (you’ll need a good computer/internet connection for this, of course!). You have a chance to view each video three times, plus you do the assigned readings, and you get a personal Academic Advisor for your assignments. You can start whenever you sign up and work around your own schedule.
You also get invited to special events in the Boston area with nationally recognized guest lecturers; past lecturers have included

These noted lecturers also provide some of the streamed video courses.
This program has three great benefits.
First, you learn an enormous amount about holistic nutrition, herbs, supplements and holistic health in general which will directly benefit you and your family.
Second, this information will benefit your clients, whether you practice homeopathy or some other holistic modality professionally.
Third, you can get insurance referrals. Completion of the program automatically enrolls you in the Healthways Integrative Provider network* which is a referral source for major insurance networks. (Note: this does not mean you can take insurance, but it does mean that physicians and other health care professionals will find your name in their insurance provider directory when looking for a holistic health care provider.)
* Healthways requires that you be a licensed or certified health care provider; or else that you have a bachelor’s degree in a directly related field such as education, nutrition, life science or psychology; or that you have an associate's degree in one of these fields plus you are nationally certified as a yoga teacher, life coach, Reiki master, etc.
You can take the Whole Health Educator program even if you don’t have these credentials; you will be asked to sign a waiver stating that you understand you are not eligible for the Healthways network.
Tuition:
Normally $3999, but we have been able to arrange a $500 discount so that students who enroll through GreenHealing pay only $3499. We feel that this is a tremendous bargain for professional training.
